"If what you say is true, then why are Republicans so hesitant to hold hearings or show up when subpoenaed? Wouldn't they want what you just asserted to be proven so? Then why won't they?"

Speaking of which, why haven't any Democrats come out and said any of that?

As for Putin, he may be part of it but I think American billionaires including Murdoch, Thiel, Mercer, and many others are behind the misinformation and fuckery. All have similar personalities/goals.

It's really a "pick and choose" situation of where to start, but I'll peg the current pattern to the 70s: economic struggles, the loss in Vietnam, cultural shits in directions "traditional" groups felt threatened by... It all added up to conditions ripe for encouraging grievance for political gain.
