(26,291 posts)The first time someone used that term, as a pejorative, to describe me, I became VERY confused. Well, they actually referred to me as a SJW and being someone who is acronym challenged, I needed someone else to enlighten me. THEN I got confused.

(2,542 posts)are out of your control; however, the thought of asking that question in front of the whole congregation has crossed my mind more than a few times.

(5,157 posts)This sounds so much like something they would practice. They were the first ones I had ever heard talking about all aspects of their religion in war-like terms.

(21,611 posts)but at a liberal branch, the PCUSA. Never heard it mentioned there, although they do have a prayer group that prays for the sick, for people in need, etc. Have also attended Lutheran and Episcopal churches where the term was never used.
