Sen. Ted Cruz appeared Tuesday on Hannity, following a hearing earlier in the day in which the Texas Republican questioned Jill Sanborn, the executive assistant director for the FBIs National Security Branch. Cruz pressed Sanborn on whether the agency played any part in the violent insurrection at the Capitol on Jan. 6, a narrative Fox News opinion host Tucker Carlson has been pushing for months.
While Sanborn declined to answer some of Cruzs questions, when he asked if anyone working for or with the FBI incited violence, Sanborn answered, Not to my knowledge, sir.
But that wasnt good enough for Cruz, and he blamed President Joe Biden.
Unfortunately, under Joe Biden we have seen an incredibly partisan Department of Justice, Cruz said. And both the Department of Justice and the FBI have an arrogance that they are not accountable to anyone, that they can stonewall.

Hey fuckhead, Biden wasn't yet president on Jan 6. 2021. As such he had no control over the FBI.
You're supposedly Ivy league educated so I imagine this is a play for your brain-dead followers but one never knows.

The supreme court would back them up.
They will go after VP Harris also.
Also members of Congress.
Hope we keep the house and Senate.

(15,388 posts)By calling January 6th insurrectionists terrorists (correctly). I'm sure Tucker doesn't like Ted anymore than any of his colleagues do, which is why he didn't let Cruz walk back that statement during their interview, and Ted somehow has enough self-awareness to realize that makes running for the GOP presidential nomination harder.
Yet he doesn't have the self-awareness to realize that nobody likes him well enough to vote for him in the first place.
