Indian Country Today: Kyrsten Sinema meets with tribal leaders

She's been accused of being a Democrat in name only. This week senate Democrats are pushing to advance a long-stalled voting, ethics and elections package but face an uphill battle without the support of centrists Sinema and Sen. Joe Manchin, of West Virginia.

Sinema says she originally co-sponsored the John Lewis Voting Rights Act but does not support amending the 60-vote threshold to advance the bill.

“Arizonans are also familiar with my long stated and firmly held belief that we must support the Senate's 60 vote threshold that will protect our country from repeated radical reversals in federal policy,” Sen. Sinema told Indian Country Today.

This photo op will be more meaningful to Sinema than any work she will do for Indian communities. Taking credit for 1 while she actively fights to withhold 2

It is unfortunate that @SenatorSinema thinks the nonconstitutional filibuster is more important than protecting voting rights while Republicans are trying to gerrymander tribal members out of their seats.

BREAKING: Kyrsten Sinema turns her back on the American people, says she "will not support" fixing the filibuster to enable voting rights legislation because it will "worsen the underlying disease of division infecting our country." RT IF YOU THINK SHE'S A COWARD!

* Made it harder for them to vote

* Stopped the BBB which would have given those people jobs and built new infrastructure for them

* Stopped the BBB which dealt with climate change and that change is a hammer to the Colorado River
and other western water supplies

* Made sure that they pay more for their medications because of her opposition to holding down or reducing
prices for drugs because she is owned by the pharmaceutical industry

''Crazymakers like drama, create chaos, lack responsibility, and are basically non-functional. They hide behind a veneer of sweetness and niceties, while manipulating you every step of the way. They are grounded in power and control and make you miserable every day of your life.''
