Remember when Trump gave that bonkers speech talking about taking the airports during the Revolutionary War among dozens of totally inaccurate statements? He got praised on the Right, they said he was giving Americans a valuable history lesson that only he understands.

They sink lower and lower, their leaders become more popular when they make up facts, the dumber the better. 98% of their voters have no idea who Frederick Douglass was, heck Trump thought he was still alive.

So he and his staff are so ignorant and careless that they went all the way through the process with no-one noticing. Plus this monument to the Dunning-Kruger effect thinks he should be able to dictate what's taught in schools, and that no-one can teach anything 'divisive'.
