Jerks on the bench - "judge" shames cancer patient for overgrown yard - started with "Judge Judy"?

It takes just a minute or two watching a-holes on t.v. throwing their robes around to be totally repulsed at the arrogance. It's all up and down the judicial ladder from SCotUS on down through wingnut Federal judges blocking things like DACA or now vaxxes on through the t.v. "judges" and down to the municipal level.

If anybody is above the law - and many categories of privileged are - these arrogant a-holes are. The 30 seconds I ever saw of "Judge Judy" made me puke and have never looked at her again. Just clicking past the different ones throwing their arrogant tantrums is quite enough.

Judge fines cancer patient, 72, for overgrown lawn: ‘I’d give jail time if I could’

A hardline judge has fined and ridiculed a 72-year-old Michigan man with lymphoma, ruling that he “should be ashamed” of being too weak to mow his overgrown lawn.

Burhan Chowdhury of Hamtramck, a community about six miles north of Detroit, admittedly fell behind in yard maintenance after he was diagnosed with cancer of the lymph nodes in 2019. His overgrown property prompted local officials to subpoena Chowdhury.

In now-viral footage of the Zoom court hearing on Jan. 10, Chowdhury’s breathing appeared labored as Judge Alexis G. Krot of the 31st District Court berated him.

“You should be ashamed of yourself,” says Krot, in a video shared Jan. 12 on social media, and viewed more than 37,500 times as of Thursday morning. “If I could give you jail time on this, I would.” ....

Judge Judy is despicable, she has to make sure everyone knows how superior she is by denigrating others.

I guarantee it. The law system treats minorities with absolute hostility for even the most minor offenses.

Extension and tell him if he needs assistance he could contact several groups, offering a few examples. Many local high school clubs and groups require volunteer hours. So do sororities and fraternities. My daughter's church youth group did the same, as did her swim team. Their wrestling squad also regularly volunteered off season to help the elderly with yardwork.

There are places and groups that can help. Most people don't realize this. Tell him where to get the help he needs.

This judge is despicable for dragging the sick man into court, when the matter could have easily been handled over the phone. There are many ways a citizen can get help and the judge should have been courteous and understanding.

Why couldn't the neighbors be neighborly? Why couldn't the nasty, miserable judge call in adult social services to help this guy out? Honestly . . . billionaires commit crime after crime after crime and get pats on the wrist and this poor man is raked over the coals by that hag of a judge.
