and deleted another from the DNC w/o reading—because it's usually a plea for money (which I do give from time to time).

This one was headed something like, "This is Dangerous."

After reading the heading, it sunk in as I hit delete, that our country WAS almost overthrown on January 6.
Living day in /day out with that, I think most of us have become numb to it. Well, I won't speak for you, but I have.

The strangest part of it is that the GOP senators and congresspeople KNOW that what happened on January 6 was an attempt to overthrow the U.S., but they steadfastly deny and lie and cover up. They don't care. They actually would prefer our constitution be destroyed.

So, I think the USA is still hanging by a thread, even though we feel better about Biden being at the helm.
Plus, I think those who were involved in any way, should serve at least 10-20 years—I think that's the only way to stop this. If they want to hang them, you won't hear a peep out of me.

They intend to install a christian theocracy, one party system. I think they also intend to dismantle public education and replace it with christian schools, unions banned, birth control and abortion banned. You are looking at an attempt to return to a nobility/serf class structure.

I think at some point a couple of the big fish will finally realize how bad it was and how close we came. Once a couple start talking there will be a bunch of them coming forward. At least that’s what I hope.
