Republican lies and conspiracy theories have become the norm for much of the population. We could be three years away from dictatorship in America.
What would you say to them right now?
What advice would you give?
What do you think they could be doing that they aren't?
I would be interested to hear your ideas.

(18,497 posts)It is probably even more unlikely that they will read a letter sent to them at their DC office.
More likely they will actually get a personal letter if you send it to their local office and time it to the time they will actually be there.
If anyone is skilled at writing well enough to get a letter to the editor published that is probably the most likely way you will get your thoughts read by your local congress critter or Senator.
I used to do the LetEd thing and get it in the paper fairly regularly in Savannah, to where people would respond to me by name. I also got in the ATL paper a couple times.
I met Max Cleland a couple of times in his Statesboro office, wrote him after that horrible campaign of character assaults against him and he sent me a reply back. Not a form letter either. He was a good kind man who gave just about all a man can give to this country and Karl Rove trashed him.
But especially if you are from or near a small town, and the lawmaker is as well, I recommend the letter to th editor.
