(9,435 posts)is either a lie, incorrect, biased or slanted so (R) is good and (D) is bad. What a monumental job to present a 24/7 alternate reality.

(2,525 posts)There are people who watch daily. My father did. I remember when we would talk and argue about current events. I wish I watched fox back then and I would have understood him better. oh well if wishes were horses beggars would ride (he used to say that) anyway my point, it's a hazard to people. Call it the fox twilight zone.

(3,167 posts)On the rare occasion when I catch a bit of Fox News, is that they always have the outrage meter turned up to 11. I guess to fill 24 hours they have to go out and find the most obscure things and repeat them several times a day. Last year they were really hung up on homeless people in California who were defecating on the sidewalks. They acted liked it happened on every block in those cities.
It is an alternate universe. And of course, it's always a simplistic Democrats = BAD; Republicans = GOOD.
Watching CNN and MSNBC isn't just the "other side." Those two networks don't blast out liberal stories of people using meth in West Virginia and Kentucky. They don't elevate Democrats to godlike status.
