I really like her on the morning show. I did not care for Kasie Hunt in her spot this morning.

Strangely Jon Oliver’s show on HBO stands out in its detail on a given subject. Brianna had a 20 minute interview with Col. Vindman’s wife (forgot her name) that went into military families specifically spouses of the people serving. She’d be great in prime time and I’m sure the hours would be much more conducive to having a life.

She's the only one on CNN who could compete with Rachel - IMO anyway.

but maybe CNN is hoping Rachel will give up the night program as part of her promotion.
Rachel would be wasted on a day time program.

She has signed a contract to do specials. Her new contract is for $14 million a year. Rachel didn’t want to do her show anymore.

I guy I know went on her show to talk about his poetry. Bet she didn't make $14 an hour then.

In the days before her radio and TV career, she was a dogged and untiring advocate of penal reform. Awarded the John Gardner Fellowship and the Rhodes Scholarship. Degrees from Stanford and Oxford. Stanford college newspaper outed her as lesbian in her freshman year, before she had told her parents. Her Ph.D. thesis is titled HIV/AIDS and Health Care Reform in British and American Prisons. For extra credit she co-hosted the show Unfiltered along with Chuck D. of Public Enemy and Lizz Winstead, co-creator of the Daily Show.

She is the best news host on television. Solid journalist, fact-based, compassionate and professional in every way. Also takes down liars and repub hypocrites with her Roll the Tape segments like no one else.

....the early morning negative bias that she adopted when she moved from the afternoon to the morning slot.

I hope she returns to her previous feisty self. I used to stop everything to watch her.
