You can also order via https://www.covidtests.gov/ (also gives a little more info)
NOTE: The two links are basically the same, but different avenues to order. You are only allowed to order once per address and one order includes 4 tests. (h/t WhiskeyGrinder)

(17,442 posts)We still have sporadic mail delivery. Parcels marked as delivered to my mailbox, which is in view as I sit here, but no mail was delivered at all that day. Likely delivered to the wrong address.
Our deliveries are made as late as 9 pm by substitutes that have completed other routes. Our issues predate DeJoy.

(10,885 posts)It didn't look at first as though order went in due to just the continued buffering, but it wouldn't let me re-try. Then - success! Confirming e-mail came after a few minutes.

(1,910 posts)NBA teams literally test 4 times per day and have tested negative before boarding a plane and positive when the plane lands. A study in Britain showed the only way a home testing program is effective is if each family member tests 3-4 times per week and isolates immediately after a positive test.
This is a start, but a drop in the bucket of what is needed.
WhiskeyGrinder
(22,353 posts)they think they REALLY need it. The way to get people to test effectively is to give them lots of tests. It's criminal that this hasn't been ramped up already.
Totally Tunsie
(10,885 posts)if you're actually symptomatic. Testing too early - before any symptoms appear - often yields false negatives. Best to wait for that first sniffle or raspy throat.
WhiskeyGrinder
(22,353 posts)once get a sniffle or raspy throat, because it's probably just a cold, and you really have to get to work because you don't have paid sick leave, so.
Totally Tunsie
(10,885 posts)a lottery within your own family to see who wins a test!
Hopefully, you won't need them at all. Good luck!

(4,291 posts)This past weekend, I got an email about test kits at Costco. After repeatedly -- and unsuccessfully -- trying the web-links to determine if either of the two warehouses here were included, I drove out to one of them yesterday. "No," was the answer I got. And according to the website (not Costco's) they wanted ~$50 for a kit of two tests!
