Good for him I hope he wins by 50% or more. I would think even the libertarian Republicans would vote for him if he keeps it lit. Edibles don't have the same impact either. Look I'm chewing on a gummy in 30 minutes I'll be high. Doesn't have quite the same impact as a blunt or a big joint. Or better yet next ad should use a bong.

(10,829 posts)In fact, the support gets bigger every year. Adding legalization to many November campaign efforts could provide Democratic contenders a genuine bump among the young or even dinosaurs like myself who firmly believe the time has come to get rid of these useless criminal charges for marijuana, medicinal or otherwise. Prohibition against alcohol was a miserable failure; we should learn from history. Adults should be able to choose and will choose, legal or not. Legalization will also help protect growers and retail operations where legalization has already passed.
If pols can't think of the good legalization will do (not the least of which is reducing our prison population) then think about the revenues it will generate.
Btw, John Fetterman (running for US senate in PA) is a supporter of legalization. He has other attractive positions but his legalization attitude is an advantage in raising money and votes.
We gotta play smart.
