(9,760 posts)I hope Malaise is right (with the prediction in other posts) that he's going down! I guess I find it easier to believe that a fatal bolt of lightning will strike him on the links.
I'll be thrilled to be proven wrong.

(5,810 posts)related to sex trafficking and assorted other crimes. Violating the Mann Act would be nice. I live in that asshats district and would be more than glad to see his political career crash and burn. Maybe this time Daddy Gaetz cant buy Matts way out of trouble as has happened in the past. Id pop the cork on something bubbly if that happens.

(6,011 posts)I never use the hackneyed word "literally" unless I mean business.
Dark n Stormy Knight
(9,760 posts)So, not hackneyed.
I know linguists have given their blessing to "literally" as it's commonly used now, but I think that's a bad decision, because there's no other word that means, "as opposed to figuratively," and which is therefore the meaning I wish "literally" were reserved for.

(412 posts)Rudy and cohorts refusing to comply with the subpoena. And all the pearl clutching associated with that. Later that same day it will be the TFG response to the subpoenas.
What you won't see is a sober discussion of the why the subpoenas were issued.

(11,605 posts)There's finally a vaccine that at least some of my unvaxxed family members are willing to consider, with great efficacy rates and few side effects, and it doesn't seem like approving it is a priority for the FDA. Especially with the OSHA mandate being struck down, I think giving people more vaccine options would go a long way toward getting more people vaccinated.
