I met her and Amy Klobuchar at an Emily‘s List gathering in Washington in 2006 (met Obama there for the first time, too). I was pretty sure all three of them would go far (was I right or was I right?). One of my daughters was interning at EL while in college in DC, and she invited me to come, since I was already a member of Emily‘s List.

My two Senators from Texas are awful, but in 2018, we flipped TX-32 blue and have so far kept it that way.
