Dear Senator Manchin,
Well, you did it. You failed West Virginia and the United States of America, and now our democracy is teetering on the edge. West Virginia seems to like your style. I don't know how much they'll like it when we have a Putin-like autocrat as President. Last night was a shameful day for the Senate and America thanks to you, the entire Republican caucus, and that strange woman, Sinema. I realize the opinion of an old white lady doesn't matter much. However, I must say I've seen a lot, but never thought I'd live to see the United States of America fall from grace in the world because two Democrats voted against protecting the greatest democracy the world had ever seen. If you wanted your name in the history books, I think you've succeeded. I hope you find a way to redeem yourself to your country.
