Are you stocked up on everything so that you don't have to go out for awhile?
It's probably safer to remain home for at least a week. Good luck and feel better soon.

Five members of my family were and each got the new covid variant.
They had about 5 days of severe flu like symptoms and had to quarantine for 10.

My brother lost his ability to taste and the doctor said it might take 10 weeks to come back.
Said he misses the taste of strong coffee the most

What is a resperator mask?

Oh, and just wondering if you got take out or delivery a lot? I know it's supposed to be low risk, but low is not zero.

We're back to reheating take out and delivery foods and avoiding eating at restaurants.

he'll come up positive for up to three months. He needs to take the rapid antigen test to see if he's still contagious.
My husband took another pcr test after 10 days - came out positive too.
We were both triple vaxxed, used masks and limited exposure and got Covid anyway.

After 3 weeks I still have congestion and brain fog.
We had mild symptoms - like a cold.

It's really contagious. But the person at the covid hotline said I should be able to go out in public after 5 days as long as I wear a mask. I shouldn't be contagious at that point, right?

They are coming up negative at the peak of symptoms (within the 5-7 day period that is most contagious)

Hope your symptoms are mild!

I don't know if he meant even people wearing N95s, but you're not the only one whose gotten it "in spite of." We are SO LUCKY that this variant is mild. We could next have a variant just as transmissible, even more unaffected by vaccines and very serious. No reason why not.

when I realized I had forgotten my mask, then as I looked around I saw that nobody was in a mask and it ruined the time for me because all i could think I'm getting COVID.

i shared this on fb and another friend of mine had had pretty much the same dream, except she was in a public pool.

covid is going absolutely apeshit in NC right now. it feels almost inevitable.

I’m on two weeks vacation, been hoping that doesn’t get cancelled and I get called in. I have a cough and runny nose at the moment, my son has been holed up in his apartment with COVID this week, all five of the coworkers in his office got it at the same time too.

I had the J&J first shot in April and a J&J booster in November, last I read some data suggested J&J was more effective against Omicron than the others, who knows at this point.

Hopefully you have a speedy recovery.
