People have been lied to and deceived. They have been conned.
How many times have we seen Rachel Maddow call the White House with advice or the White House call anyone at CNN or MSNBC for advice? I think it is safe to say that none of these people are inside "advisers" to President Biden.
How many times did Sean Hannity and folks from FOX News call the White House and offer advice and how many times did the White House call them? How many times did Donald Trump call everyone except FOX News "fake news"?
What type of reporters or journalists would take their marching order from the White House? What type of journalist would try to advise the President on how to run the country? What type of journalist would never tell his viewers or listeners exactly what his relationship was with the White House and their policies?
Who was really the "fake news"?

(21,385 posts)commissioned 2 of its TV reporters to do an in depth analysis of the local agriculture and dairy businesses. They came back with a report citing steroids, antibiotics, RoundUp and other pesticide use, terrible conditions at farms and ranches. Their boss rewrote their report and toned it way down to make it very vanilla. The 2 reporters refused to go the air and read the altered report which they claimed would be lying, so Fox fired them.
Google Monsanto v Fox, Fox eventually won the court case which upheld the firings. So there is a court decision that Fox can fire people who refuse to lie on air.
