Today is Day 41,

since the select sent the Mark Meadows criminal referral over to DOJ.

Just saying.

I see more and more of Kornacki on TV.

Maybe they are preparing to charge him with more than just ignoring a subpoena?

We do know, from a FOIA request by Politico, that National Archive investigators are investigating a group of fraudulent electors in Arizona.

No word if DOJ is investigating the fake electors.

Here's a clue: The DOJ is almost certainly not planning to notify you in advance of anything. Nor will it notify me. That we do not know is of incredibly little value.

I never, ever, never ever, expected DOJ to leak one of its investigations. Investigations do get leaked and that is why I mentioned the National Archives investigators who are investigating the fake electors in Arizona. Did the National Archives leak that investigation, no it didn't. Politico filed a FOIA request and through some excellent investigations discovered the National Archive's investigation.

See how that works? There are other ways that investigations get leaked. The lawyers for the defendant leak it, the defendant leaks it, court filings are made and get discovered by reporters.

There are just some people that can't stand to not know what's going on behind closed doors. They'd rather spoil the case so they can know what's going on rather than actually let the DOJ do their jobs.

Nor will it until they are complete and the results have been to a grand jury.

To expect anything else is unrealistic.

Kornacki doesn't know, either.

Certainly you and I do not know.

You are correct. There is "no word" of what the DOJ is doing. That is how it works under AG Garland.

There is no point to repeating that you do not know. We all know that you do not know. Your lack of knowledge is news of nothing.

it's exactly their strategy, delay until the election. Everything is going according to plan.

and because of that, DOJ has a practice of not releasing information leading up to an election. This is why I brought up Steve Kornacki, once he takes over the TV that's it until after the election, and we damn well better hope we keep control of Congress because if we do not, the select committee is gone.

People who keep pushing for waiting are pushing just what the GQP wants pushed, delay, delay, delay, until they regain control of Congress.

41 days and counting to decide whether to indict Mark Meadows for ignoring a subpoena.

Not enough people working there. And when it comes to legal you’d be surprised. Everything takes a long time. Even Shakespeare referred to “the law’s delay “

to go clear through the courts right to the Supreme Court to get the White House documents released to the select committee.

We know about the 2 NY investigations. We know about the Georgia investigation, and yes, the Georgia investigation is taking a very long time. The special grand jury isn't scheduled to meet until May, but we know about those investigations. The people behind those investigations may not even bring any charges but at least they are investigating.

rather quickly, for instance, the ones the Idiot and his minions filed over the election - the SCOTUS dismissed those right quickly.

And they were questions of law alone, not questions of fact.

Those of us who are keeping track have consumed a knowledge that is fundamentally jarring. Until the rest of the country catch on that we are facing the largest ratf*** in our history, we have to suffer alone. Some choose to proceed in faith. Others want a minute-by-minute accounting.

We're all about to face our fate here. Just know we are on the right side of democracy on this one.

who said that? We now know that the National Archives is investigating the Fake electors in Arizona. When Politico asked them about it, they responded, we cannot comment about an ongoing investigation. End of story, no more questions need to be asked.
