She's active in organizing her own third-party known as the "People's Party". She only reluctantly runs as a Democrat because the People's Party isn't viable enough to even make it on the ballot (yet) but that doesn't mean they aren't viable enough to be an effective spoiler party (like Jill Stein was with her Green Party idiocy.) There's a video of a Nick Brana and another founder wherein he admits that the plan was to elect Turner on the Democratic ticket... and then to have her switch party affiliation after she was sworn-in. That was supposed to be their BIG MOMENT.

this time than last, when the race was assumed to be hers to lose because of her name recognition and big outside money. Attention this year is already on the big threat -- on the Republicans -- and incumbent Shontel Brown is doing a solid job.

“Let’s face it, there are bigger fish to fry,” David Cohen, a professor of political science at the University of Akron’s Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics, told JI. “This is a very steep uphill battle for her. I just don’t see how she’s going to make it to the summit.” Jeff Rusnak, a Democratic strategist ..., agreed. “Maybe it’s kind of odd for Nina to pick this fight at this moment. I think it’s a lot tougher now than it was last year.”

And of course OH-11th's voters now know more about her. That she advised people not to vote Democratic in 2016 for instance. And they're likely to remember that Turner ran this time on opposing the Democratic Party's infrastructure and jobs creation bill we'd promised the people -- because passing our $1.2 trillion investment in people's wellbeing would be a bigger betrayal than doing nothing.

Rep. Brown voted for it two days after being sworn in and, as below, is now reporting to her constituents on the dozens of very needed projects in their area, plus many more to come, which are also designed to create many good new jobs for her constituents.

https://www.cleveland.com/opinion/2021/12/bipartisan-infrastructure-law-is-already-delivering-for-northeast-ohio-shontel-m-brown.html

Speaking of, yesterday the Ag Department announced they've just funded another 731 infrastructure projects in rural communities in 51 states and territories, including those of native tribes, going for everything from building a desperately needed state-of-the-art hospital in western Alabama to a new fire truck for Sabula, Iowa. That $1B is just a little part of what's happening.

(Eat THAT, Turner.)

I have been following the Our Revolution and the Justice Democrats and their predecessors for a while including the "brand new congress group" and other groups created by Zack Exley, Waleed Shahid, Cenk, Kyle Kulinksi and their ilk. I am on the Justice Democrat email list, and I have even listened once or twice to the Justice Democrat podcast which is amusingly called "Just Us" democrats. The Justice Democrats emails are fun to laugh at and I love the hatred this group shows to the Democratic Party, establishment Democrats and best of all corporate democrats. The posts attacking the DCCC and the regular Democratic Party for raising money to elect real Democrats are really amusing.

There is a large number of posters on twitter who have issues with the concept of the Justice Democrat group and its affiliates wanting to take over the Democratic party and remake into their image.

The concept that the Justice Democrats want to take over the Democratic Party is wrong

Again, the above posts are consistent with the hatred of the Democratic Party that I see on the almost daily emails that I get from the Justice Democrats.

As you noted, you are free to support the groups you like, and I will support the groups that I like. I was very pleased when Nina was soundly defeated in the first primary and it will be interesting to see if she can improve on the really bad campaign she ran last time.

That twitter troll is insanely obsessed (to extraordinarily creepy and cringe levels) with AOC (worst I have seen on twitter, they have hundreds of tinfoil posts on her). They have an incredible amount of batshit crazy conspiracy theories rolling for ages on their twitter feed. It is a cesspool.

Here they are smearing the fuck out of the frontrunner for the 2022 US Senate PA race (and sitting Democratic Lt Governor) Fetterman

here is that twitter troll taking a shit on the WI 2022 US Senate clear frontrunner (and also sitting Democratic Lt Governor) Mandela Barnes, labelling him as some sort of stalking horse that needs to avoided.

It is also the height of disingenuousness, as the reason the twitter troll gives for Mandela Barnes being some sort of stalking horse secret enemy of the Dems is simply that Barnes was endorsed by the Working Families Party, the very same party that endorsed Joe Crowley when he lost in the 2018 NY-14 primary to that twitter troll's arch enemy, AOC.

Crowley even appeared on the 2018 general election ballot on the WFP ticket. It is balatant selective outrage and pure hypocrisy.

It is outrageous that this trash twitter account is posted here. If any DU poster typed out the same things they say in many of their other tweets, they would banned within a short time, but the 'Twitter loophole' (unlike people often do with websites posted here, most people do not go look at a tweeter's background, so pure twitter trolls often skate) so far protects this shit twitter troll and allows them a profoundly undeserved voice here.

John Fetterman isn't the "frontrunner for the 2022 US Senate PA race". He's not even yet the nominee. Did you see the results of the endorsement vote of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party yesterday?

Lamb 169
Fetterman 64
Kenyatta 42

The true frontrunner for the NOMINATION is Conor Lamb, who received more votes than the other two combined. He wasn't officially endorsed since it takes 2/3 of the vote, but he came mighty close.

And the fact that anyone attending the state convention actually voted to endorse Kenyatta shows how effed the state party is.

We needed to avoid a bruising primary fight. There is no way in hell that a black guy named "Kenyatta" is going to win a state-wide race in Pennsylvania.

I am disappointed that "personally" (yeah right) not-pro-choice Lamb got so many votes. If he's the nominee I'll vote for him. But Fetterman is a great candidate for PA and it would be a shame to settle for a centrist Dem when we have a progressive with broad appeal.
