. . . . . So, I see a growing chorus of content providers and subscribers quitting you over one of you other content providers, the one with a penchant for lying and flinging shit like a monkey.
Seriously, Spotty. Is Joe Rogan worth it?

(118,829 posts)By making the country so extreme people will refuse to live on the same platform and they will break apart into smaller platforms.

(80 posts)There is no bigger face in rock music then David Grohl. His departure would cause the tsunami that Spotify fears the most. A mass exodus of big names and healthy minded rockers leaving the app for the right cause.

(29,676 posts)And might use this as an opportunity to leave. My kid said there are rumblings from a few K Pop bands who aren't too happy with everything. If the rumors are true and Willie Nelson, Dave Grohl, Taylor Swift, BTS and Blackpink leave Spotify will be in for a hurtin'.

(32,791 posts)I think they're based in the Netherlands (?) and I'm sure that American politics means nothing to them. They just want Americans to pony up for the $10 per month membership fee. Spotify has an amazing library of musical artists, much larger and wider ranging than Sirius.
I'm a Spotify subscriber and I didn't even know who Joe Rogan is. I've never listened to him. It's shocking to think that that many Americans actually listen to Joe Rogan or know who he is. Spotify seems to have really blown this, and I'm wondering when they'll finally realize it.

(32,791 posts)They have an amazing library of performing artists and composers/musicians. I listen to a lot of German folk music, and Sirius has nothing that is non-American and non-English language. Spotify is already established in Europe, like Sirius is here in the US. However Spotify is able to grow their market by signing up American artists as they have been doing, and by getting Americans to buy $10/ month memberships.
I'm sure Spotify will make a correction because Joe Rogan isn't the hill for them to die on.
