(6,941 posts)I was taught there are three ways to acquire knowledge and education. First-class is to learn by hearingwe hear something and understand.Dont put your hand in the fire.
Second-class is to learn by observing the consequences on otherswe see someone burned by sticking their hand in a fire.
Third-class is to learn by suffering the consequences oneselfI stuck my hand in the fire and learned it will burn me.

(6,941 posts)Nobody complaining from the GOP or authorities only emboldens MAGAs to think this is normal behavior. I guess thats the plan all along? Whatever, inciting to riot is criminal. When does some authority condemn right-wing TFG inflammatory rhetoric? After a murderous riot?
Or after an African-American tells a crowd of black people they need to riot? Ill bet the GOP would be quick to condemn that.
I think we know the problem with this crowd.

(21,410 posts)there is a way to stop this traitor, start arresting politicians, former Trump cabinet members, and Trump himself. Make it so people don't want to associate with Trump or his cronies.
So far the only people who have been arrested are people who were associated with the riot part of the coup. Until someone is arrested I can only believe that Garland does not want to appear partisan.
Today is day 46 since the select committee sent DOJ the Mark Meadows criminal referral. If DOJ is not going to indict politicians, former Trump cabinet members, and Trump so as to not appear partisan then Garland needs to tell the American people that so we can protest.
Robert Mueller was wrong for not indicting Trump, there is no law that says a sitting president can't be indicted. We are headed down that same road again.

(21,410 posts)There are responses here, not on this thread, that are laughing at what Trump said at his rally. There are responses here that claim that what Trump said at his rally will be good for Democrats, will enable us to hold on to Congress. I stopped myself replying to those idiotic responses because it pissed me off so much that I would have gotten an alert.
Don't expect anyone but a handful of people to condemn what Trump said, and the condemnation won't last longer than 24 hours. It's the weekend, people are more interested in watching football.
The only way to stop Trump is to arrest politicians or former cabinet members or Trump himself. I have my doubts that DOJ is going to take the criminal referral for Meadows or the criminal referral for the fake electors. DOJ will let it up to Michigan and the other states to prosecute the Fake electors, just like they left it up to the Fulton county DA to prosecute Trump for his Rafensperger phone call.
The only way to solve a problem is to recognize what the problem is. It's about damn time people realize that our problem is in holding people accountable, and no we can't be patient because this is an election year when DOJ shuts down leading up to the election. Our time is short because the 2022 election is going to be rigged, how do I know, I listen and see what the traitors are saying and doing.
There is nothing funny about what he said. He is doing exactly what he did before - inciting violence and the media laps it up and shows it on our morning news stations. Here we go again.
Making light of what he says and does will never work. Prosecuting and hauling his orange ass into court would be a start.

Can he be made to serve consecutive sentences for obstruction? Cuz he's up to about 33 counts of it already.
