(19,066 posts)After Obama's recovery was so slow and the media kept talking about how slow it was, you'd think they'd be all over the speed of this recovery, but they are in the bag for the oligarchs and the oligarchs hate Biden for helping regular people.

(19,066 posts)November was +249,000 revised up to +647,000. December (the one the media panicked about) revised up from 199,000 to 510,000.

Get thee to the greatest page RFN!
Saw an article this week on Yahoo Finance that was titled something like, "Get ready for the economy to go in reverse with this next jobs report!" It was total gloom and doom and cheerleading for a halt to the Biden Boom.
I don't think it's hyperbole to call the last 12 months the best year the US economy has ever had. I wish the media would start acknowledging it's been an absolute boom the last year under Biden.

(12,272 posts)Wasn't corporate media about to pounce on bad employment news as well as bad UEs?
What happened? Oh that's right, the economy is recovering slowly. The relief of bottle neck at ports are also slowly recovering.
Inflation in my opinion is the cause of corporate greed by the millionaires/billionaires.

(19,066 posts)This has been by far the fastest recovery in US history.
Dems need to take over the narrative, this is the best economy we've ever had, full stop.

Jeez. Remember when every jobs report was revised down for TFG and it was still the most wonderful news for him ever?

That he wasnt wearing a mask at Wal-Mart was my first clue. We chatted a few minutes and vaccines are pointless, the economy sucks . Bet he never hears any of this because you know it wont be on FAUX.

(4,617 posts)My ex-wife yesterday went off on Biden, saying he fked the middle class with his tax plan. I said I didnt know what she was talking about, could she tell me more? She couldnt. The depth of her knowledge was as stated, Biden fked the middle class. She confessed that she heard that on the fly from others (she doesnt own a TV).
Somehow (hello Faux News) that anti-Biden meme got injected in the minds of low-information people, those who are easily roused by the likes of Trump to the point where a couple of thousand attacked the capital on January 6.
I educated her on the strengths of BBB, although I informed that it was killed by 2 Democrats who happened to accept large sums of money from Republican donors. Im sure it went in 1 ear and out the other since the facts didnt fit her frame. It examples the decline of the United States into a flawed democracy. (On this point I think we were recently assessed as worse than a flawed democracy, I just dont recall what its called.)

(19,066 posts)The last year have been the greatest year in the 246 years of US history for job growth and wage growth. And it was the best year for growth in 40 years!
Can you imagine the piling on if this was only the 2nd or 3rd great 1 year period for the economy in US history?

(62 posts)There have been so many monster revisions throughout 2021 that I'm wondering if the initial reports are purposely off to handicap the current administration. It just seems odd, especially since the Commissioner of the BLS is a Trump appointee...

(19,066 posts)There are people who work tirelessly on this stuff, and there is transparency to get them right in the end. But it wouldn't surprise me f Trump put some lackey in the BLS that is trying to hurt Biden, but can only twist things for so long before it gets corrected.

Again, best 12 month period for job growth in US history!!!

(19,066 posts)'Why the U.S. might have lost jobs for the first time in more than a year'
"As a result, economists polled by The Wall Street Journal estimate the U.S. added a scant 150,000 new jobs. If so, it would be the smallest increase in 13 months.
It could be even worse a lot worse."
Just cheerleading for bad numbers.
