1. NC is pretty likely to be overturned by the NC Supreme Court

if it isn't, we are likely to be 10 to 4 or 11 to 3 in favor of the GOP. If they are overturned it would likely be an 8 to 6 split in their favor.

3. NC has a history of using its Constitution to strike down maps for partisan gerrymandering

and the feds have let them. I assume that will continue.

5. we are currently 8 to 5 GOP favor

if the maps they drew come to pass it will be at best 10 to 4 their favor and more than decently likely chance at 11 to 3 their favor. So in comparison to what we have now, the forced redraw would be a one seat gain for us, in comparison to the redraws we would gain either two or three seats.
