All those rethugs were complicent and dont deserve to be forgiven, but Im glad to see them starting to turn on trump. They are no doubt seeing which way the wind blows so its encouraging.

Cult-like status for Schmuck a l'Orange or not, politicians do not like putting their presidential aspirations on hold, and for the republicans and 2024, that means having to break with Trump to varying degrees. Pence and Christie obviously think they have a roadmap to the presidency, and that is getting Trump out of the picture. Cruz, on the other hand, is running as well, I think, but he doesn't have the backbone yet - maybe never - to do it.
