I can sit and watch floor proceedings all day and night (House and Senate). I watch Washington Journal EVERY morning. Do you watch like I do?

(36,012 posts)Always when there is a hearing or announcement from Fed Gov. That way I can form my own opinion - and not have to listen to talking heads telling us what we are supposed to think.

(30,882 posts)These people are my fellow citizens! So tired of hearing wild eyed Repubs cheat to get in on the Dem lines. And the bias from Cspan toward conservative views in general is noticeable and disgusting.
Cspan is priceless and necessary, but sort of unwatchable. You are a real trouper to do so! Be sure and let us know if anything really important slips through all the empty space and ancient non-wisdom.
And welcome to DU!
It is hard listening to the GQP that call in everyday. Scary sometimes. But I have noticed over time the GQP crowd has diminished just a little bit. There are some old school Republicans that call in every now and then. Those people, while I usually disagree with them, speak on policy issues and not blowhard talking points from entertainment TV shows (Fox News, OAN and the other bat shit crazy shows out there)...having different opinions on policy is what I watch for. I love to debate the issues. When it comes to the mods on Washington Journal you can tell sometimes of bias but overall I give them a B+.
I will definitely be posting things that I see or that I feel are important here from now on.

(2,615 posts)I would've chosen it.
I don't watch CSPAN unless it's covering historic events like significant votes, Senate or House hearings, major addresses, etc.

(91 posts)Do you consider Jan 6th an insurrection? The answers were quite shocking. Majority were dipshits and chiming off the RNC and Fox talking points but surprising amount actual said that it was!
I had out my coffee and popcorn lol
