I always figured it was more of a case that Trump looks down on people and considers them nasty. If they touch him, he sanitizes his hands. If they come near him and he decides they are dirty or unclean, then he feels the need to clean himself as a means to rid himself of them. He's wiping them away, literally and figuratively.

I think maybe he is lying about being a germaphobe.
