CNN is actually mis-reporting its own poll. The 56% isn’t all voters, it’s the subset of voters who disapprove of Biden.

Still an awful poll for Biden but the chyron is wrong. CNN published separate answers to the question from Biden approvers/disapprovers.

CNN: "What has Biden done that you approve of?"

56% (!!!) of voters say "nothing"

John King also mangles this in the segment, saying “nearly six in 10 Americans” when he’s actually looking at a poll breakdown of Biden disapprovers.

CNN: 56% of Americans say "NOTHING" when asked what President Biden has done that they approve of.

"Look at how bad these numbers are."

Not to go all Zapruder on this, but you can see that the MOE changes between slides. It’s 3.3 points in the first one, 4.3 points in the second — because it’s a poll of the subset of Biden disapprovers.
