Those who do not wish the truth of Jan. 6 to come out have predictably resorted to attacking the processclaiming it is tainted and political, Cheney wrote in a scathing Wall Street Journal op-ed titled The Jan. 6 Committee Wont Be Intimidated.
Our hearings will show this charge to be wrong, she said. We are focused on facts, not rhetoric, and we will present those facts without exaggeration, no matter what criticism we face.
This is as strong a statement as we've heard yet. It's driving my optimism in the right direction.

1910 Republicans stood for something. They built the civic clubs, had WWI patriotism, and emerged as Cold Warriors. They owned the businesses in Main Street America, they were real job creators. Before they became this greedy, crooked lot of losers and criminals.
So yes, Liz Cheney gets attention. Far more collusion between Democrats and Republicans existed that the public knew. They've been at this game for 160 years.
