on the trump/document story and got this comment:

“The 2-year frenzy over emails…was ultimately nothing. Call it sexism, Republican depravity, ratings-hungry media, it’s time we acknowledge it was bullshit & write that into the history books.”

The NYT chose not to print that comment.. why did they even ask if they won't print the comment?

Presidents have always gotten to bask in the praise when good things happen, even if the good things aren't their doing. The flipside of that coin is that when bad things happen, the President catches the blame, even if it's not their fault and there's nothing that can really be done about it. To the voters, it happened on the President's watch so they're responsible for it, good or bad.

if it was about one of his pathetic rallies, but we're talking about a federal offence. It should be a much bigger deal and the public opinion should be more informed. Too many times Trump crosses the line and people shrug because he's a repeat offender in so many ways. It has to catch up with him as some point, or it makes a travesty of justice.

of his crimes -- his biggest sin to me was that it was proven he lied and withheld info about covid He purposely withheld PPE. People got sick and some died because of him. Not a single front cover story that I saw. No censure. No nothing. Once no one said anything about this I completely gave up on trying to figure out why on any of his misdeeds.

And gave up trying to figure out why the House would spend all this time in committee investigating something and then not fully PRing the results.
