Thanks for the Hope and Kindness (Hearts)
I am not a particularly prolific poster on DU. However, I very much appreciate all the generosity and willingness of everyone to post videos and links to news articles, personal stories and especially the pictures and stories about animals. I have always maintained that animals are the best judges of character and kindness. And, on that score, the people here have continually demonstrated kindness and empathy.
Maybe when this pandemic is finally in the rear view mirror, there should be a serious discussion here about having an annual or bi-annual conference where folks meet to talk about and influence our party toward a more perfect union and a just relationship with each other and the planet that sustains us.
