"SNIP......

“Canadian police moved in Saturday morning to clear protesters at a vital bridge in Windsor Ontario connecting Canada and the United States,” the New York Times reports.

Axios: “It’s the strongest escalation by authorities after truckers, farmers and other protesters have blocked roads and portions of the busiest U.S.-Canada border crossing for days, cutting off key delivery routes and leading factories to shut down.”

.....SNIP"

Deputy Chief Jason Bellaire of the Windsor Police Service would not disclose the number of officers detailed to clearing the blockade, citing operational sensitivity. In an interview outside a police command center bus, he said five other police forces were assisting his department, as well as tow trucks sent across the border by the State of Michigan.

Thanks for the video link. I really appreciate it, but my ADHD brain won't let me watch much of it. :

It's almost an hour and a half long, and most of it seems to be crowds of people milling around and vehicles sitting in a road, narrated by a guy with an excruciatingly monotonous voice. (Also, he repeats himself. Like, a lot. A whole lot.) It's just...really hard to watch.

If there's a particular spot where something interesting happens? I tried fast forwarding and nothing jumped out at me, but I know it's easy to miss things that way. Tia!

They pushed the crowds back behind the vehicle then towed it away. There are a few pickups down the road where they continued to push the crowd so not sure if they have yet pushed them behind those and whether they will be towed or the owners will move them as well. Just got home so have not kept up with developments.

immediately but he is not doing the same for Ottawa because he is conservative and he thinks it is hurting Trudeau more than him. He may have a surprise because he is bleeding support in an election year.

I guess some of us farmers are easily manipulated. But not all of us.
