LOUISVILLE, Ky. A person fired a gun at Louisville Democratic mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg in his office on Story Avenue on Monday morning, police say.
No one was injured, but an article of Greenberg's clothing was hit, Louisville Metro Police Chief Erika Shields told media about 12:30 p.m.
A person has been detained by police, and no motive was known, she said.
"We also have no reason to believe at this time that this individual was acting anything but alone."
Earlier coverage:
Police went to the Butchertown Market at 1201 Story Ave. after a report of shots fired Monday morning. Greenberg's campaign has an office in the building.
Louisville Metro Council President David James told The Courier Journal earlier that shots were fired at Greenberg while he was in his office this morning.

Meanwhile, the boys in blue will not be blue when investigating the fox-blown-mind-crime of molesting blue politicians; most likely the media will continue blowing it with bothsiderism.
