PoliticoGreitens, who resigned mid-term in 2018, has led the crowded Republican field in early polling for the states open Senate seat. But according to a recent survey done for a private third-party and obtained by POLITICO, Greitens would have just a slim lead over Democrat Lucas Kunce if the general election were held today.
The poll, which was conducted in January, found that in a head-to-head contest, Greitens would win just 42.2 percent to 38.3 percent for Kunce, with 19.5 percent undecided.
Greitens 4-point lead in the hypothetical matchup, just outside the polls margin of error, is a sign that the former governors baggage could turn off conservative and independent voters in a state that former President Donald Trump won by 16 percentage points in 2020.

With so few undecideds (vs. the poll above) - those aren't close to being the same thing.

(22,133 posts)have a reporter charged w/ a crime when the reporter spotted a glitch in a DB and notified the state prior to going live w/ his article waited until the state fixed it). The governor kept insisting that the reporter was 'hacking' etc. and should be charged. At least cooler and far more rational heads prevailed, and the reporter wasn't charged w/ nothing (as he shouldn't be).
The governor in turn, should be arrested for embarrassing the whole state of MO and literally being so stupid it hurts. And I know what I'm talking about, being in IT for 45+ years. I'd be hard pressed to find another dumb a&& like this but trump and some others come close to how stupid this governor is.
We, as Missourians deserve far, far better than this POS.
