I am thinking he was going to lame NATO as best he could and he was supposed to win a second term and hand Ukraine over with minimal fuss. Donnie screwed it all up and Donnie's BFF had to try it this way.

Putin is acting out because Putin has for years desired lands like Ukraine which he views as having been lost from Russia.

Putin's use of Trump is ancillary to that.

What if, after everybody who's anybody fails to persuade Putin to quit buggering Ukraine, TFG comes out and publicly asks him to pull back and Putin does it -- and gives djt a public shout-out.
