A girl who went missing more than two years ago at the age of 4 was found alive by police on Monday, hidden underneath a staircase in a New York home.

Paislee Shultis, now 6, was found at a residence in Saugerties, about 45 miles south of Albany, on Monday night after authorities received a tip regarding her whereabouts, according to the Saugerties Police Department.

child trafficking looks like in the US -- a parent or parent who lacks custodial rights taking the kid anyway from those who do.

But it's nowhere near as much fun to post FB memes about as torture dungeons under pizza parlors run by "globalists."

* These adults are the biological parents & paternal grandfather, no?

* The child was in good condition when found, no?

* Haven't seen why the child was removed and placed with guardian (back then).

* Haven't seen who is the guardian?

* All this time and there wasn't a court order to take that house apart board by board?

*** As for SAGET, adult and his family have a right to privacy, just gratuitously curious here- severe injuries from behind and found face up? Everything "normal" (no drugs, no visitors - no prints/DNA?) yet severe incongruities?

especially when you lose to grandparents. This per a friend who works for DCS in a different state. Here are some of the reasons she has given me from a past case:

1. Child is found with drugs, usually meth or opioids, in their system, especially if found in a house with drug manufacturing equipment.
2. Child is judged neglected, especially if known to be left alone for long periods of time (testimony of neighbors may be relevant here). Malnutrition may be factor in these cases, also filthy/substandard living conditions. Medical conditions, especially chronic, left untreated.
3. Evidence of abuse: current or old unexplained fractures, bruises or other injuries not attributable to medical conditions.

That's pretty much it in most states. You can't, for instance, remove a kid simply for refusing to let them see Granny and Grandpa. I'd say look into the background details of the parents if you want to know why this little one was removed.
