Rep. Jim Hagedorn (R-Minn.) has died after a two-year-long battle with kidney cancer, his wife announced Friday morning.
Hagedorn, 59, had served in Congress since 2019, after winning a district along his states southern border with Iowa. He followed his father, Tom Hagedorn, who represented the same district in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

last month. Also CNN said his family had not released the cause of his death.
