In that timeline, FBI Director Comey decided that he didn't feel he had enough evidence to report to Congress about Clinton's emails, and shut the investigation down. In that timeline, the slight dip in Clinton's numbers never happened, and she squeaked by in an electoral college win a week later. Despite intense opposition from the GOP and even some in her own party, Clinton proved a remarkably able President, winning a much stronger second term even after dealing with the fallout from Covid-19, even as the far right all but went extinct.
