We really do live in a stupid timeline, don't we?

First, we're told that Nancy Pelosi was responsible for the invasion of the US Capitol by violent Trump supporters, disrupting the certification of the election of her fellow Democrat Joe Biden as President and shouting threats of harm against...Nancy Pelosi.

Now, we're being told that Ukraine is attempting to provoke its own invasion by Russia.

Disinformation really is a funny little creature, isn't it? Impervious to all logic.

In the past, both parties would be condemning such invasion. I don't know what timeline or why we live in this timeline. But somehow, one US major political party is approving and egging on Russia to invade Ukraine. It's really mind boggling.

Homo Sapiens was always destined for extinction, its no secret that 99.9% of ALL species ever to live are already extinct, so our ultimate fate was sealed billions of years ago.

I had just hoped we'd hang on long enough for me to avoid having to witness the terrible destruction we are going to cause on the way out.

The timeline that saw the future of humanity making its way out to the stars branched off about October 27th, 2016. In that timeline, FBI Director Comey decided that he didn't feel he had enough evidence to report to Congress about Clinton's emails, and shut the investigation down. In that timeline, the slight dip in Clinton's numbers never happened, and she squeaked by in an electoral college win a week later. Despite intense opposition from the GOP and even some in her own party, Clinton proved a remarkably able President, winning a much stronger second term even after dealing with the fallout from Covid-19, even as the far right all but went extinct.

Sadly, that was the other leg of the trousers.

there'll be much disinformation from both sides.
But whatever anyone may claim about the West or Ukraine being hawkish, no one is making Russia amass all those troops around Ukraine. Russia is the obvious aggressor, no one forces them to invade another country...again and again.

If you are bluffing, but don't put enough forces, and support for those forces on the ground, the satellite will show it, and your bluff is useless.

I'm not saying Putin is bluffing or not, just that the "show" is going to look the same now whether it's a bluff or intended action.

Putin does have an objective, and I suspect part of it is to continue driving division in the USA after his lackey, TFG. made serious headway on that front.

In fact, I'll repeat this part, with added emphasis:

But whatever anyone may claim about the West or Ukraine being hawkish, no one is making Russia amass all those troops around Ukraine. Russia is the obvious aggressor, no one forces them to invade another country...again and again.

This cannot be said too many times, especially as some still do not seem to get it:

RUSSIA. IS. THE. OBVIOUS. AGGRESSOR.

Nothing... I repeat, NOTHING... the U.S. may have done in the past makes what Putin is doing now even almost okay.
