Yes, Harold, its sarcasm..... actually, a poor attempt at humor. The humor part is about one chick being more attractive than the other. But the point, they are twi.... aw forget it.

(3,389 posts)Its both sort of groovy and a twins researchers dream. Twins of twins are a genetic cornucopia.

(111,277 posts)means those two boys probably aren't any more identical than other cousins are, although the mitochondrial and Y-DNA will be the same in both.

(14,858 posts)They have the same DNA profiles as brothers would, because both children have genetically identical parents.

"Although technically cousins, the boys are genetically brothers."
Mariana
(14,858 posts)because their parents are genetically identical. There's no way for a DNA test to determine which boy came from which couple.

.
Looking at the picture, the children are not identical even if they have the DNA of siblings.
The genes expressed are not the same - just as I dont look the same as my siblings.
I do find this however a fascinating story from a genetics standpoint.

(15,334 posts)I was married to a widow who was pretty as could be,
She had a grown up daughter, who has hair of red,
My father fell in love with her, and soon they both were wed.
This made my dad my son-in-law and changed my very life,
My daughter was my mother, cause she was my father's wife,
To complicate the matter, even though it brought me joy,
I soon became the father of a bouncing baby boy.
My son has thus become a brother-in-law to dad,
And so became my uncle, though it made me very sad.
For if he was my uncle, then of course he was half-brother,
to the windows grown up daughter, who of course was my stepmother."
------------
Don't remember the rest, but my dad used to sing a 10 minute version of the above song.
