Most Republicans don't believe the shit they're selling

Those who do are so incredibly stupid as to be fucked up beyond repair. (I'm referring to people like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Louis Gohmert, the "My Pillow Guy," and too many more to mention here.)

And others, (Josh Hawley, Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz, and their ilk), know it's bullshit, but are playing along in hopes of becoming the next "Fuhrer." These are some really evil people who would welcome a return to pre-Civil War America, where many considered slavery as "good" and even "Christian."

Virtually all elected Republicans know that "the party line" as peddled by Fox "news," and their online allies, is bullshit. But they want to hold onto their power, so they play along with it, play to the most ignorant in their "base," and swear allegiance to the dumbest fuck to ever infect the Oval Office, TFG. They know, KNOW, it's all lies. But what the hell is wrong with ignoring a few lies, as long as they can retain their power, their source of (enormous) income and their shot at having total power, forever.

I often think that Republicans aren't the same species as the rest of us. But I guess that thought would make me some kind of "elitist" who thinks that "Real Americans," or "Patriots," are inferior beings.

Nonetheless, I do believe that America has too many stupid fucks, who cast stupid votes, to keep too many of the stupid, or those with no scruples, in office. Perhaps all candidates should have their knuckles checked to see if they've been dragging on the ground. And perhaps even questioned as to their thoughts on how wonderful it would be if we all dwelt in caves. -- Not that it would matter. Countless millions would vote for them even if they had horns and a tail in plain view.

"Republicans originally thought Fox worked for us. Then we discovered that we work for Fox."
- David Frum 2010

Now Fox twists in the wind hoping not to upset Trump. There is also social media and other “news” outlets that daily try to out outrage each other. They’ve gone past “owning the Libs” and now are feeding of themselves.

"A political leader who seeks support by appealing to the desires and prejudices of ordinary people rather than by using rational argument. To rhetorically exploit an issue for political purposes in a way calculated to appeal to the desires and prejudices of ordinary people."

And by "ordinary people" they mean ignorant, racist dumbasses.

They think they can turn this shit on and off like a tap. Catastrophically, they are playing with Pandora’s box.

Where he and Ariana Huffington, before she turned to the light side, were at an event with John Kasich, who was then a house representative, and they were talking about cuts for certain social programs, and Kasich mentioned one where the money was increasing. Al asked if the amount had been adjusted for inflation. Ariana said something like, "C'mon, of course it has bee; they wouldn't be that dishonest," and Kasich nervously replied, "Al, the amount is going up." Al kept pressing, and no, it hadn't been so it still amounted to a cut.

When I was younger I wondered if sociopaths, narcissists and authoritarians were a different species.

I still wonder that sometimes. Especially when they piss me off.

I mean empathy is a big part of being a human being. Empathy is what enables us to survive on a planet that can be dangerous injure and kill us.

Those without a trace of empathy with others are a threat to humanities survival, and these days with climate change, the world .

Still I wonder. No proof of it,but I cant help thinking they are a different species. Anti survival.

Early groups of humans knew sociopaths narcissists and authoritarians threatened thier survival. How come we have forgotten this?
