... who are having a rough go of this:

Germany's Russia policy in tatters after Russian invasion of Ukraine

Germany's historic Russia policy, which has been focused on "special relationship" diplomacy and economic ties rather than confrontation, has been struck a blow by Russia's escalation. What now for Berlin?

Russia's invasion of Ukraine has had major consequences for Germany's foreign policy.

Following Russia's attack on Thursday morning, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz took to Twitter to say:

"The situation is serious. The peace in Europe is built on not changing borders. We must return to these principles: State sovereignty is respected. Borders will not be moved."

I don't have any tolerance for U.S.A. television news and opinion, especially as they are screaming to capture my eyeballs with shiny useless facts, chrome and fins on a 1957 Cadillac.

The BBC is a highly flawed institution but they do tend to be consistent in their biases.

And there's always Australia...

I choose to believe the competent world leaders understand they shouldn't interrupt their opponent when he's making a huge mistake.

The wild card here is China. They import more food from the former Soviet "bread basket" than Russia does.
