(22,133 posts)at one time and so here we go,
putin couldn't find any other enemies that he could beat, mouth off, etc. so he picked on his nearest neighbor, Ukraine, so he wouldn't have to endure a logistics nightmare in getting the Russian army there to Ukraine.
I wonder just how screwed up the Russian army is, being that all of putin's billionaire friends have raped Russia and its economy. I also wonder just how the Russian army feels about invading what was once considered part of Russia at one time, again (Crimea before).
Why can't, like NATO, Russia, continue to expand? I guess it's because no one wants to be part of a failing empire, one that's truly not an empire but is instead, a bunch of old thugs trying to hang onto everything they can. Why are the young people allowing these thugs to rape the youth of Russia and the world?

(1,530 posts)This is a report on Raw Story claiming the Russian Committee of Soldiers' Mothers -- NOT a Russian government organization -- has made some astounding claims.

The part about mobile crematoriums is interesting. If true, sounds as though Putin does not want body bags or caskets coming back -- just some ashes.

(25,981 posts)Sounds like some cannon fodder got pushed out ahead of the trained soldiery. Horrible if it turns out to be true.

A packet of seeds with a Ukrainian Prayer, "Put these seeds in your pocket, that flowers may grow where you die"ook
Or is that some kind of twitter threat or facelessbook faux pas?.
