That he prerecorded his lengthy speech that aired just as the he started the war.

This was bound to happen and Biden was wise to send reinforcements to that country ans the others around tat border front.

Since the thought of going into the sewer that could be called -45's head is so unpalatable, I couldn't think of asking you to go there to test your hypothesis.

In my defense, I was watching The Empire Strikes Back and trying to decipher a Japanese language video for a pair of slippers I wanna make at the same time.

Since they are former soviet bloc countries. He wants it all and the rest of the world will have to prove to him that he can't have it.

that will automatically trigger Article 5 of the NATO agreement as an attack on all NATO countries and then we'll be into it.

I highly doubt that Putin is going to attack a NATO country, NATO would crush Russia in a conventional war, it's the nukes under his command that is worrisome, but I think if it came to that, the real rulers of Russia, the Oligarchs, would have someone in Putin's inner circle pull a Valkyrie, hopefully with a better outcome than the actual event.

By the time we commit (meaning, take it all in, figure it out, get together, complain to the UN and NATO) and then mobilize (meaning make a war plan, decide who is going to go where, move our troops and equipment, and actually get there) it will be OVER.

We should have moved thousands upon thousands of troops to both Poland and the Baltics, but instead we trickled in a few here and there. We sat and watched while we very well knew--as did all the EU--that Pewtin was setting up to invade Ukraine. We knew this. But, we did nothing but call emergency meetings in the UN Security Council, which Russia controls, write up nasty documents of condemnation, and beg the Russian Asshole to please not do this rotten thing. They don't even have the courage to kick Russia's Ambassador out of the United Nations.

NATO meets on Friday. We will see what they say (hopefully.) But, if they don't want an occupied Poland, they better move fast. And, I have little faith in Russian Oligarchs, or anyone's Oligarchs, to stop a war. They are probably preoccupied figuring out how to keep Russia from that Swift sanction.

Putin won't reverse anything. And, he certainly can't bring back all the dead people. It's over for them. Eff Putin and anyone who supports him.

But it's also just about the closest place to assemble a force to head south and make a run for Lviv.

You know, the part of Ukraine that Lenin never was able to get a hold of.

That's the problem with ambiguity. It's ambiguous. Aimed at Poland? At Lviv? Can't know unless you have actual knowledge.

If you look for Muchavec, Belarus on Google Maps you can see the training area (including that trapezoidal pond) to the SW, but east of Route P94.

Looks like a tank-practice facility.
