These figures lauding an authoritarian state invading a democratic state comes a year after QAnon supporters (& far-right message boards) lauded the military coup in Myanmar (& called for similar actions in the United States) & participated in the January 6 insurrection.

Supporters of the QAnon conspiracy theory and other far-right figures cheered the Russian invasion of Ukraine, calling it a step toward destroying the so-called “cabal.” This is not the first time such figures have praised an international authoritarian action -- they were equally vocal in their support of the military coup in Myanmar in early 2021.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in Ukraine and Russian troops invaded the country. In response, multiple QAnon figures thanked Putin and cheered the Russian attack, writing that the invasion was “a proper, and NECESSARY deep cleaning of Cabal operations and military assets” and meant that “the Cabal will be exposed in Ukraine and it will be one of the last pieces of the Plan.” (“Cabal” is a reference to a tenet of the conspiracy theory about the power of a supposed cabal of pedophiles around the world.)

QAnon supporters also claimed that Putin was simply invading a new world order “stronghold” and “destroying the money laundering operation” and Ukraine’s “deep state government,” thus “removing the [deep state] players.” They also claimed that the U.S. politicians criticizing the invasion are “deep state players … protecting their interests in Ukraine.”

Much of the QAnon community (along with those on far-right message boards and elsewhere on social media) also spread a baseless and previously debunked pro-Russian conspiracy theory that the invasion was actually a Russian effort to take out American-funded biolabs -- a reference to the claim that the coronavirus was created in a lab. A QAnon influencer claimed this was in order to “possibly derail the future plans of Bill Gates, the WEF and [their] ‘next plandemic.’”

If Biden and the cabal do have a money laundering operation in the
Ukraine, and if that country is a headquarters for their child
trafficking network, wouldn’t it be best to shut the whole thing down?

I think not. Putin is a well educated. He is meticulous. He is seen by
his people as not being corrupt. His rise in the KGB occurred at a
time when corruption was rampant. He has not enriched himself through
government. He is a nationalist. He is not PC. He is not woke. Putin
is eff'n smart and a strategist. If I were a Russian, I would love him.

This is not a negative turning point for Putin. Quite the
contrary. Putin will be more popular than ever and have a better world
standing than say, the illegitimate resident Biden or Trudeau or
Macron or Scholz end even mask and shutdown vacillating Boris Johnson.

Putin has not enriched himself through government? He was in the KGB (government) and has since gone between being the President of Russia, and its Prime Minister. Meanwhile his net worth has been estimated as between 70 billion and 200 billion dollars. How the fuck could he have gotten so wealthy? Did he have a side job that we don't know about.

President Obama is worth about 40 million dollars. He got about 12 million for writing a book, and I am sure has made the other 28 million on speaking fees, his Netflix series, and other ventures AFTER leaving office. You can argue that President Obama made his money using the clout that being President affords. Putin however, is still in office and there is NO WAY IN HELL that he could have amassed even the lower end of 70 billion dollars without using the power of government corruptly. He is no Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, etc.. who while not role models, at least produced something to account for their wealth. What did Putin invent or contribute to get 70 billion dollars.

Also, Putin and his buddies are Oligarchs with immense wealth, who can purchase anything they want. You don't think that their "tastes have not ended up in taboo and deviant areas? You think that Hillary Clinton, who is worth maybe a humble 80 million dollars, has the money to front a world wide cabal of pedophiles but Putin who has about 10 thousand times that amount is a saint?

That is some twisted ass thinking.

Just like if ConservativeInPA lived in Germany in 1933, he would gladly be at the front of the rally with his right arm as far out as he could extend it while saying "Does he see me? Does he see me?"

If ConservativeInPA lived in Pakistan during the 1980s, he would be a proud supporter of Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. He would be the one cheering on the then-new blasphemy law that would be then be used to settle personal disputes.

If ConservativeInPA lived in Chile during the Pinochet regime, he'd be in Colonia Dignidad electrocuting dissidents and people who wandered too close to the cult compound.

And I can give far too many more examples.
