and that there were concerns about it having spyware issues, so I avoid it already.

If past accusations of spyware didn't motivate you to ditch that anti-virus application, the Ukraine invasion should.

As someone who does some IT administration, recommend doing a complete system wipe and reload if you're getting rid of Kaspersky.
