the young adults too. I am thinking of the young Russians risking everything to protest in the streets.
If they are identified, they will never be able to get a job even.

I don't think most women who have not been through war understand what the enemy does to women of the invaded. If I could not successfully flee, I would do what I could to kill as many enemies as possible and then kill myself. There are no good options for women who belong to the occupied.

This is what women did to themselves to avoid the horror of being raped and murdered by the enemy. What happened to women who didn't kill themselves was much worse.

If escape was possible, I honestly don't know. I couldn't leave my family or my beloved pets, so...

I don't think that I will ever see fighting/dying for what is TRULY right--defending the lives of others against true, actual tyranny-- as cynically as some do. At least I hope I will not.

I like to think I would do something along those lines. Until one faces that sort of thing, it's all talk and speculation.
