Hey everyone, is anyone else getting this nagging suspicion about our political climate?

If we’ve got a segment of our population that rants about “tyranny” and says they’re willing to go to civil war over that supposed tyranny but when actual tyranny is staring at them in the face, their response isn’t to arm themselves and go fight that tyranny or to even say “Hey, that’s tyranny, stop that”

But instead they call him the good guy, the Christian, a liberator, etc.

It makes me think, well, that maybe they don’t know what tyranny actually is.

And that opens a whole book of questions, you know?

If they don’t know what “tyranny” is, what else do they have no idea about?

Liberalism? Socialism? Marxism? Communism? Economics? Science? History? The Left? Critical Race Theory? Critical Anything?

Maybe we need to start putting a disclaimer whenever we post something and it is a quote from a conservative, because I am starting to suspect they don’t know what they are talking about.

rights of others is not on the radar screen.

They would be in for the shock of their lives if they ever had to deal with a real tyrant.

Media should do more of those.

I've seen some done at MAGA rallies.

of our domestic would-be tyrants because they are easily malleable and misled. They don't understand critical thinking so they like things to stay the same, thus conservative, but these days that means they also like autocrats who tell them what to think. They are also deeply insecure: they have no confidence in their abilities so they rely on gender and race for their status and privilege.
