Should I join Twitter? The reason I ask is that I’d like to see if South Carolina’s idiot republican us representatives and senators are Tweeting horseshit about FTFG had been president Pootie Poot wouldn’t have invaded Ukraine. Oh I heard already that Rep Rice (Who doesn’t represent my district but my district representative is probably saying the same thing) is saying that, and so is another idiot Republican who is running for a Rice’s seat.

If my representatives are doing that and also the not -esteemed Graham and not-esteemed Scott at least I can call them and tell them I don’t appreciate it a bit.

I’m now going to do some errands and try to calm down.

But I only started using it when DU went down during the 2016 election.

Even though I hardly ever post, I’m on it more than any other platform. Up to date news all over the world. However, following the right people is key. It’s easy to get suckered into misinformation so always look at the source. It doesn’t have the benefit of the smart people at DU.

Social media can be used to teach and learn.

It can also be an incredible waste of time.

Twitter can become a sucking quicksand hole if you start to comment and retweet. Don't become a member. Just read and don't interact.

Twitter is the best instantaneous information source we have. Their search feature works great. I block every account that places ads in the feed, a bit of a hassle but it seems their algorithm reacts by hardly every placing ads in my feed. I ignore rather than block the MAGAnuts who pop up in search results.

I recommend a few accounts to follow.

Most of my feed is academics, science, science topics, and photography such as Parrot of the Day. See who accounts you like follow to find great content, such as who does Obama follow.

To place images from Twitter here, view the image and change the suffix to .jpg, then just paste that URL here.

if you want news as fast as possible, it is hard to beat Twitter.

You can block the idiots. Only follow the good people and sources. If you want to see the RW idiots, you can, if you wish.
