I'm an 80year old woman with children grand children and great grands.
I'm thinking about an 80year old like me who last week was having a nice cup of coffee reading at noon Saturday. In Kiev.
Today her children grand and greats are fighting hiding or evacuees. Their lives and hers turned upside down. She knows better than all what Russian rule will do.
She probably fought against it to be rid of it. Now here in this supposed more modern time , with all the modern communication around the Russian threat is coming again.
I am so broken hearted for her, probably a very distant relative (I wonder if she is H2a2 haplogroup?)
This afternoon I will go to a 12th birthday party for my youngest grand. My thoughts will be with all the people of Ukraine.
