LONDON France on Saturday intercepted a Russian vessel in the English Channel in line with new EU sanctions against Moscow.
The cargo ship was transporting cars and left Rouen bound for St. Petersburg. However, French sea police redirected the vessel to the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer in northern France.
It is suspected of belonging to a Russian company that is currently on a sanctions list by the EU, the press office of the Maritime Prefecture of the Channel confirmed to NBC News.
Reports say that the 127 meter-long vessel is called the Baltic Leader and the crew were cooperating with the authorities.

Good grief, ships of all sorts all over the world, but under which flag??? https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:23.4/centery:33.9/zoom:3

I think there's also flight trackers for commercial, military, choppers in flight, but haven't gotten to those real time trackers yet, LOL! In my little pumpkin shell at home or on famililar roads around town, I'm really rather amazed how much transport of every sort of vehicles is going on globally across oceans and in ports of call. It's pretty crowded and at times looks like Dogem or conga dance lines.
