(90,347 posts)I really don't see this going well for Russia. Between Ukraine's more than adequate military, the endless supply of support from other countries, Russia likely being cut off from the vast majority of the world, and morale between the two forces, Ukraine holds quite a hand.

What will happen to NATO if someone REALLY not shitty gets put in place of Putler and Russia goes higher up in the democracy index than the US?
I'm think Xi isn't going to let anything go, he's got to appease 1.5 billion people.

(3,282 posts)That airport is close to their position and they have been trying to take it since the start. It would be ideal to fly in troops and supplies.
If I were the Ukranians I would have blown it up to prevent the Russian both the runway and access to the fuel there
